Free Tutoring for Foster Youth: SFUSD offers both individual and group free tutoring to foster youth that attends SFUSD schools. 24-25 foster youth tutoring application will be released at a later date.

Educational Case Management: Graduate-level MSW interns provide individual and group interventions with foster youth students, participate in foster care events, attend school and other collaborative meetings, and consult with multidisciplinary team members.

Foster Youth Services Coordinating Program (FYSCP) Site Contact:
At every SFUSD school, a site-based FYSCP Site Contact/School Social Worker serves as the single point of contact for FYSCP services at their assigned school. The School Social Workers are responsible for facilitating communication between school staff and the youth’s care providers. Through the Coordinated Care Team (CCT), the School Social Worker will also monitor academic status, provide/prioritize referrals, and provide other related services for foster youth at their site.
