Marina Beacon Afterschool Program
The Marina Beacon Afterschool Program is from 4:05-6:40 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and 2:17-6:40 on Wednesdays. Students will sign in and out at the table on the yard. The afterschool schedule is as follows:

4:05-4:30 = Community supper and sign-in in the cafeteria. Program-wide announcements from the Program Manager as necessary.
4:30-4:35 = Transition to Power Hour- Homework Hub, choice of academic focused workshops for the day, or outside team sports
4:35-5:30 = Power Hour
5:30-5:35 = Transition to Enrichment Clubs
5:35-6:30 = Enrichment Clubs
6:30-6:25 = Transition indoor team games or outside team sports
6:25-6:40 = Sign-out
Wed
2:17-2:45 = Community supper and sign-in in the cafeteria. Program-wide announcements from the Program Manager as necessary.
2:45-2:50 = Transition to Power Hour- Homework Hub, choice of academic focused workshops for the day, or outside team sports
2:50-4:00 = Power Hour
4:00-4:05 = Transition to Enrichment Clubs
4:05-5:45 = Enrichment Clubs
5:45-6:25 = Transition indoor team games or outside team sports
6:25-6:40 = Sign-out

Afterschool Payments
If your student qualifies for Free/Reduced lunch, the afterschool program will be free. Families will need to please submit proof of your students eligibility by submitting the official form available on SchoolCafe.com.
If your student does not qualify, you have been charged monthly payments of $50.
If you are unable to afford these fees, please talk to us! Students will not be turned away due to inability to pay!
Payments can be made three ways:
- Make a payment online here (you can also set up automatic monthly payments)
- Stop by any YMCA of San Francisco branch and ask to make a payment on your account.
- Mail a check (made out to Presidio YMCA) to Presidio YMCA, 63 Funston Ave., San Francisco, CA, 94129.
-Note that we cannot accept payments at Marina Middle School.
Afterschool at Marina
Marina Middle School's Beacon Center Afterschool Program offers community time, academic support, and a variety of engaging clubs. Students can choose from a rotating schedule of engaging activities that range from sports, photography, cooking to dance and youth leadership and service learning.
SFUSD afterschool programs ensure involvement of teachers from students' schools to make sure that afterschool academics are aligned with the school day curriculum.
