Parents! It’s time to grab your tickets for the Spring Gala! For those that have never attended, this is the adult-only event of the year where we get to glam up and enjoy our wonderful community at the fancy Hibernia Bank with delicious food, an open bar, great music, dancing, and of course a lively auction.
Tickets are now live at www.biddingforgood.com/friendsofalamo for $75 or $150. Either ticket gets you the same access to the event so choose the level that is right for your family. Remember all funds raised through ticket sales and the auction will go to fund the amazing programs (literacy, arts, music, outdoor ed, etc) that you and your kids love at Alamo. Feel free to invite friends and alumni parents who would want to support this great cause.
Location of the event is at 1 Jones by Market street. We recommend that you use a ride share app but if you prefer to drive, the Civic Center parking garage is 2 blocks away. The venue's security team will ensure everyone feels comfortable coming and going.
Costumes are strongly encouraged! Built in 1890, Hibernia Bank features 2 grand stained glass domes, marble walls and the original vault! So channel your inner Bonnie and Clyde and dress as a robber, old school banker or just an heiress / gentleman coming to deposit their diamonds. If your fancy wear doesn’t fit after the pandemic - don’t fret. Just borrow an outfit from the “Fancy Free SF” group on facebook or through our very own Alamo Buy Nothing Facebook Group!
COVID requirements for the event will follow city protocols and school guidelines - guests need to be vaccinated / masks are recommended. This is a large space that will allow us to spread out!
