In 2024-25, Star assessments will be administered to students from Kindergarten to High School as part of the SFUSD Assessment Plan. Find links below to resources for supporting successful administration/data use during forthcoming Fall Star Windows: HS(Sept 3-27) and K-8 (Oct 7 to Nov 1). Note: Star assessments can be administered throughout the school year in addition to the district required interim windows specified in the SFUSD Assessment Calendar.

• Learn about Star assessment administration procedures.
• Complete registration for the September Test Coordinator Meeting if you are your school’s designated Test Coordinator.
• Encourage NEW staff to explore Star Professional Learning Opportunities to learn how to administer, access, and interpret Star assessments and data.
• Access Star reports in DnA (Illuminate) or the Renaissance platform to analyze results for 2024-25 students. Note: Classroom teachers/students gain access to Renaissance as of August 15, and students must be rostered to sections and classroom teachers via Synergy in order to view data.
