What are we doing?
On Thursday, May 30, the Website Support Team deployed the latest version of the Drupal Admin Theme that content owners use to create and edit all content on SFUSD.edu.
What will change and how will it impact me?
This new theme brings very minimal changes affecting just the color scheme and the padding between elements on the edit screens. You will still be able to do everything you do on the backend of the site, including creating new pages, editing pages, and publishing pages. All fields and elements remain in the same places they have always been, and all features are preserved.
This new theme change will not be noticeable to the public or users who are not logged in.
Why are we doing this?
It’s critically important that the Drupal CMS infrastructure be kept up to date for security, accessibility, and expandability reasons. The new Admin Theme is part of the required Drupal 10 upgrade which the website support team has now completed.
