WAREHOUSE POLICIES AND GUIDELINES FOR FURNITURE SERVICE REQUEST 2024-2025
THE FOLLOWING POLICIES AND GUIDELINES ARE NEW WAREHOUSE STANDARDS TO ENSURE A SMOOTH PROCESS FOR SERVICE REQUEST.
WHEN FOLLOWED, OUR WAREHOUSE TEAM SHOULD BE ABLE TO COMPLETE YOUR REQUEST IN A TIMELY MANNER. SAVING OUR TIME AND YOURS.
WAREHOUSE SERVICE REQUEST (FURNITURE)
INNER MOVE - TRANSFERS - REMOVAL
- Furniture must be in one location for removal
- Items must be labeled.
- If you have an item for Removal, label it with (REMOVE)
- If you have an item for Transfer, label it with the Name of Destination.
- Any incomplete request will be on hold for clarification
- The last day to submit a request for summer removal is June 7
- ALL Furniture requests submitted after June 7th will be on hold until 9/1/2025 (THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED)
The first month of the school year is always a busy time for the warehouse. We need this time for annual obligations and to be available for any emergencies
If you are moving or disposing of more than 1 classroom of furniture or have an excessive amount. Please contact Christian Martinez at martinezc6@sfusd.edu to arrange movers
Please note: schools will be responsible for funding removal and disposal of old furniture
NEED A DUMPSTER?
Please contact Cecil Zaraspe at zaraspec@sfusd.edu to arrange a dumpster
