Brazilian Styles and Rhythms is a dance and rhythm making class in which focuses on styles such as: Samba Reggae, Samba, and Baile Funk.

The purpose of this residency is to introduce students to dance terminology, basic steps, learn how to play basic rhythms, and create a piece in a safe and encouraging space.

Classes will include learning and memorizing rhythms, learning and performing choreography, class discussions, creating a movement piece, and learning about the rich history behind these styles.
