Use these resources to learn who needs to submit a form and encourage those parents to submit the MFIF online at SchoolCafe.com:

1. Set a goal and track your school’s MFIF Submissions & Free and Reduced %
2. Identify who needs to submit the MFIF, and use this guide to run the Synergy MFIF rosters.  (Report #50; NF = No form on file and FF = Form on File) 
3. Send a SchoolMessenger email to parents who don’t have a MFIF on file.

The Multipurpose Family Income Form (MFIF) for 2023-24 is available on SchoolCafe.com and in different languages. Families who have not yet applied are encouraged to apply for school benefits. Please see the Family Benefits Guide for a list of resources.

The Multipurpose Family Income Form (MFIF) is not needed for participation in school meals, however, it has a huge impact on Local Control Formula Funding (LCFF) for our school sites.  High MFIF return rates may increase funding opportunities for classroom supplies, salaries for school staff, and more.
