Each year, the Achievement Assessments Office hires retired SFUSD teachers who work as district substitutes who we train to administer one-to-one sections of the ELPAC state test. Substitutes who are hired will go out to school sites, administer tests to students via laptops, enter scores, and periodically come by the central office to pick up or drop off materials. Examiners need to be willing to work daily and be willing to work at any of our SFUSD school sites.
If you have been retired from SFUSD for more than 6 months (as required by CALSTRS), and would like to apply to be in the ELPAC Examiner pool, please read the attached job description carefully and let us know if you would like to be added to the mailing list for application requests (fall & spring). If you know of retired colleagues who might be interested and may not have access to OASIS, please share this information and have them email aaa@sfusd.edu. You would also need to apply and be onboarded to the SFUSD sub system via the Human Resources department for this position. Pay is that of a day-to-day sub in SFUSD.
Next Steps:
- Read the job description to see if the work interests you.
- Contact us at aao@sfusd.edu to let us know you are interested in being an ELPAC Examiner for SFUSD (Achievement Assessments Office)
- Contact the sub office if you need to apply to be an SFUSD substitute: subhiring@sfusd.edu
