For one week each year, Bay Area high school students take over KQED’s radio, TV and digital platforms to tell their stories and create intergenerational connections between local youth and the adults in their communities.

It’s KQED Youth Takeover week, when local teens take over KQED’s airwaves and digital channels! View student stories from Mission, Lincoln, Burton, Galileo, and Washington High Schools. These high school students have worked all year to write and produce their own stories for you. You’ll hear them on your favorite shows, like Perspectives, Forum, Above the Noise, KQED Live, and Bay Curious. See them all on the KQED Youth Takeover showcase.
