SFUSD Teachers or site-based TSAs interested in growing your leadership: Apply to the SFUSD Teacher Leader Fellowship for SY 23-24!
SFUSD aspiring or current teacher leaders -
Are you interested in getting paid to grow your leadership, facilitation and teaching practice along with a community of other inspiring and committed teacher leaders across the city? Apply now to join the Teacher Leader Fellowship for August 2023!
The SFUSD Teacher Leader Fellowship (TLF) is a paid leadership program for strong teachers interested in developing their teaching practice and leadership in service of student outcomes. Once accepted, applicants can remain in the program for up to four years. Teacher Leader Fellows attend bimonthly cross-site PLCs (one in person, one over zoom), engage in monthly leadership coaching, and recruit/lead a lesson study team of colleagues at their site. Fellows receive a $2500 stipend, extended hours for attending the PLC, and extended hours for all members of their team to engage in up to 25 hours of team professional learning. Fellows earn ~$4,800 each year.
If you have at least four full years of experience as a teacher (as of SY 23-24) AND are interested in developing your leadership skills, leading a site-based lesson study team, and growing in your understanding of transformative, ground-up leadership, then we hope you will consider applying. Please let us know if you have any questions and we look forward to reading your application, should you apply.
Apply Here! (DUE APRIL 21)
