Announcement Message
Thank you for all you do to support our families! EPC is so grateful for your help welcoming new students and for helping your transitional students accept or decline by April 7. We will be sharing lists of students newly assigned to your school (Receiving List), and students leaving your school (Sending List) on Friday, March 17! Here are the things we are asking schools to do with the "Sending" and "Receiving" information we send:
- Please call all families newly assigned to your school for 2023-24 to welcome them! You may also accept their assignments for them if they give you permission (strongly recommended for TK and K).
- Please help all families transitioning out of your school to Accept or Decline their assignment on ParentVUE by April 7.
Here are some resources to help you:
- Slides from school staff training on 3/10 and a recording of the training information.
- A YouTube video (English) of how to Accept or Decline using ParentVUE - tips for schools here.
- You can check contact information for your new and transitioning students, and see who has accepted or declined, using Synergy Reports EPC 046 and EPC 047. Info here.
- sfusd.edu/parentvuetoolkit - everything you might ever need to help parents navigate the accept/decline process
Here are some resources for parents:
- SFUSD.EDU/MAINROUND will be updated next week to include ALL information parents need about accepting or declining their assignments, Round 2, and other relevant information.
- sfusd.edu/Workshops - workshops for parents who are looking for help with next steps, including details on Round 2. Here is a flier for the in-person workshop at Chavez if that’s helpful for your families.
Reach out to EPC for any help you might need! Your cohort counselor is your best resource.
