Announcement Message
The SF Safe Routes to School Partnership is excited to announce our annual SF Bike & Roll to School Week celebration, April 24-28. Bike & Roll to School Week, organized by the SF Bicycle Coalition and co-hosted by SFUSD and SFMTA, is for students and families city-wide to celebrate getting around under their own power. Whether students are on a bike, bus, scooter, wheelchair, or skateboard, it’s healthy, green, and FUN. Walking counts too!
It’s time to register here!
The two main school activities are:
- The School Celebration — Anyone can sign up to encourage everyone at your school to bike, skate, scoot, or otherwise roll (or walk!), and incentivize them with stickers, rewards, music, or anything else your imagination comes up with. We’ll provide an outreach material kit full of goodies to reward students on your day of celebration and a Thank You gift for the organizer!
- Not ready to organize your school? You can pledge to participate on your own here and be eligible for prize drawings.
- Bike and Roll To School Week 2023 Art Contest
- Winners receive gift cards from Blick Art Supply! One grand prize winner’s art will be featured on the 2024 Bike & Roll to School Week poster
- Deadline for entries: May 10.
