Muni Raised Me

It has been my honor to co-curate this free Muni-centric art show opening Feb. 23 at SOMArts 934 Brannan St San Francisco, CA 94103. I am a born and raised San Franciscan, who grew up taking public transit, going to public schools, and playing in public parks. This show is a collection of 13 San Francisco born and raised artists, showing up and showing out for this city that raised us. As part of the show we have retrofitted an actual retired Muni bus, so come along for the ride as we explore what it means to make a home in a rapidly gentrifying house. The show will run for 6 weeks with special events on Feb. 23, Mar. 17, and Apr. 7.
