What is Girlfly? 

The 2023 Summer Arts & Activism Project will bring 20 young women/gender nonconforming (GNC) youth ages 14-19 from San Francisco for four weeks to:

• Make dances in the air and in an urban garden led by professional choreographers Jo Kreiter and Megan Lowe
• Earn $500
• Create and perform your own original dances
• Learn about issues of belonging, land and identity
• Create a visual arts project led by Adrian Arias and writing of personal/political statements
• Connect with young women/GNC youth across neighborhoods, schools, ethnicity, sexual orientation and gender identity
