Students will build Tongan foundational literacy skills and capacities through this language course. Students will interact with peers using conversational Tongan, recognize and identify Tongan cultural pieces and traditions. 

This is a 6 week virtual course that will be held from February through March 2023 with weekly sessions on Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. 

We are seeking a certificated staff member to support and monitor the course while providing assistance to the Tongan Language Facilitators and students. You do not need to know Tongan. Certificated staff will be paid approximately 12-18 extended calendar hours.
