SFUSD Paraeducators - Register to attend the Paraeducator Winter Conference (a virtual Saturday conference)

To support paraeducators with continued professional learning and opportunities to utilize their paid hours for professional development (18 PD Hours & 7 Hour Contractual PD Day), the Paraeducator Leadership Network is hosting a VIRTUAL WINTER CONFERENCE! See our flyer!

REGISTER TO ATTEND HERE (registration is not binding - this just gives us an idea of who we might expect!)

When: Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022

Time: 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (you can attend some or all!)

Pay: Paraeducators can receive pay for attending if they have any remaining 18 PD Hours or have not yet used their 7 Hour Contractual PD Day. Paraeducators can also attend voluntarily to grow their skills! If you are seeking payment, get pre-approval from your administrator.

Audience: All paraeducators, all classifications (including security aides, early education paras, special educator paras, instructional aides, family liaisons, all R-series paras, etc.).

Schedule: 

• 9:00-9:15 (15 min): Opener
• 9:30-11:00 (90 min): Workshop 1 (multiple options)
• 11:15-12:45 (90 min): Workshop 2  (multiple options)
• 12:45-1:15 (30 min): Lunch Break/Tabling
• 1:15-2:45 (90 min): Workshop 3  (multiple options)
• 3:00-4:30 (90 min): Workshop 4  (multiple options)
