Proctors needed to administer the Lowell Admissions Test in January. Certificated staff will earn extended hour pay ($37.43) to serve as proctors.
Announcement Message
The Lowell Admissions Policy requires admissions based on a combination of grades and standardized test scores. All Lowell applicants for 9th grade admissions for the 2023-24 school year, who did not take the 7th grade SBAC in the 2021-22 school year will need to take the admissions test.
Proctors are needed to administer the test in January. Certificated staff will earn extended hour pay ($37.43) to serve as proctors and must be available on these dates/times:
- Thursday, January 5, 4:30-5:30 pm - virtual mandatory training
- Saturday, January 7, 8:00am - 12noon - Testing at Lowell (snacks provided)
- Wednesday, January 11, 5:30-10:00pm - Testing at Lowell (dinner provided)
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Certificated staff presently employed in SFUSD
- Must commit to both testing dates as needed
- Must attend mandatory training hour
- Have experience with administering standardized tests, including maintaining security and confidentiality
- May not be connected personally or professionally (parent, counselor, etc.) to any potential 9th grade Lowell applicants for the 2023-24 school year
