Thank you to all of the Coordinated Care Teams across the district for your hard work supporting students and families this year! As a division we have made shifts in how we support families with the Coordinated Care approach and in shifting our previous attendance notification system from BASIS to Synergy. The Student Family School Resource Link Line will remain open over the summer and through next year for consultation support.  As we reach the end of the school year, please note that consultation services for attendance may be limited based on demand. 

We invite school sites to utilize the following best practices to support with chronic truancies for the remainder of this school year:

• Complete transition plans for students going from 5th to 6th, 8th to 9th, and for students who will be transfers to different schools in the fall. 
• Start planning Tier 1 Attendance events and activities for Fall 2022. 
• Additional resources will be provided through this summer's Independent Learning Modules (ILM).
