Announcement Message
The gathering will take place at the Jack Adam’s Hall 1650 Holloway Avenue San Francisco, CA 94132 where a Memorial Service for Julia Marshall, San Francisco State University Professor of Art Education, will start promptly at 1:00 pm to 4:30pm on Saturday June 4th, 2022.
The Memorial Service will present speakers who are Julia’s family and friends and who have worked with her as artists, or students, fellow teachers, or as collaborators on teaching and research projects and/or on co-authoring books and academic papers with her. The Memorial Service will be followed by an exhibition of Julia’s artwork in the Art Gallery immediately adjacent Jack Adams Hall. Both venues are on the ‘Terrace Level’, top floor, of the San Francisco State University Student Center. The Service will be between 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm, followed, between 2:30 pm thru 4:30 pm, with an opportunity to view Julia’s art Exhibition as well as time for connective conversations among all the gathered friends. Food and drink will be served between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm.

- Other than in an eating facility, masks are currently required at all times on the SFSU campus and in its buildings. Attendees age 12 or over must provide proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours of scheduled event.
- Please plan on arriving at the parking garage no later than 12:30. By the time you've parked, and walked the 10-minutes between the garage and the Student Center, you'll get there with only a few minutes to spare. Wear walking shoes,(as Julia always liked to do)!
