New resources are available to support families in need of interpretation. Hard copies of the following documents will be sent to school sites in the next week. Below are the links for your reference along with instructions for each resource.

• “I speak” flyer for families to see and use - please post the hard copy of this flyer at the front desk or staffed entrance area for families in need of interpretation to easily communicate which language they speak.
• LanguageLine instructions for school staff to access for 1:1 communication - LanguageLine phone interpreters should be used for parent-teacher conferences or urgent family check-ins. Please refer to the LanguageLine FAQ to learn more about how and when to use LanguageLine.

To request interpretation service at IEP related meetings or large community sessions, please use one of the forms on the employee Translation and Interpretation Services webpage.
