The SAN FRANCISCO ALLIANCE OF BLACK SCHOOL EDUCATORS, Presents Its 28th Annual African Honor Roll Celebration (18th Community Awards Ceremony) via ZOOM --- 2022 for ALL SFUSD students of African American descent in Grades 3-12 who have earned a 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) or higher (Fall 2021)
This year's ZOOM Event Will Be Held Over Three (3) Days at 5:00 pm. Elementary School Students - February 15th, Middle School Students - February 16th, and High School Students - February 17th.
Elementary Principals/Teachers will select six (6 students of African American descent based on their academic performance) in Grades 3rd - 5th. You can choose 3 Boys and 3 Girls or any combination of your choice. Our base is six students. However, you may select more African American students who meet the academic criteria, and they are welcome to participate.

ALL AA Honor Roll Students in Grades 3-12 Will Receive A Certificate and an Academic Medallion Mailed to your school site the week of February 7th with the ZOOM Link.
Students Will Need Their Certificate and Academic Medallion for The Ceremony. This Ceremony is a Signature Event in the African American Community each year and the City & County of San Francisco.
We expect more middle/high school students to participate this year as they can enjoy the Ceremony in the comforts of their Homes via Zoom. How Can Educators Help: Please encourage your students to participate. This program requires hundreds of Volunteer Hours.
Middle and High Principals: We have the list of Your African American Students Who Earned a 3.0 GPA or Higher in Fall 2021. They Will Be Honored and Receive A Certificate and an Academic Medallion via School Mail the week of February 7th. You may email us the names of African American honor roll students of mixed ancestry who may not be on the District's list.
ATTIRE: White Tops and Black Bottoms. ALL 4.0 Middle and High School Students Who Participate will receive an Ancestral Kente Cloth mailed to their school of record the week of March 7th.
