Announcement Message
SFUSD staff should know how much their work is valued!
To that end, students, families, community members, elected officials, and staff are encouraged to write letters of appreciation to SFUSD employees.
Research shows that feeling appreciated and recognized for efforts at work boosts morale and is one of the key reasons employees stay in their jobs.
Writing a note of appreciation can be easy and quick—a post-it note, an email, a text-message, or a card.
If you can take a few moments to appreciate a staff person (including custodians, paraeducators, cafeteria workers, special educators, building maintenance workers, teachers, technology employees, coaches, counselors, principals and assistant principals, school social workers and nurses, payroll employees, superintendent, human resources employees), it will be a bright spot for SFUSD staff heading into the holidays.
