Students who are English Learners with higher levels of English proficiency may possibly earn a Seal of Biliteracy on their diploma if they take one of the World Language AP exams and score a 3 or higher. Students do not need to be enrolled in an AP world language course to take the exam and should check with their school about availability. Each high school should consider the AP exam logistics, availability of equipment and coordination for students who wish to take the exam. The deadline to order AP exams without incurring additional fees is November 15, 2021. Seal requirements are outlined on the Seal of Biliteracy 2022 application.
