Summer 2022 program hiring and planning is in full swing. All summer program administrators and hiring managers, please be mindful of the following protocols for summer positions.

Re: Summer Positions and Pay
Summer 2022 program hiring and planning is in full swing. Please be mindful of the following protocols for summer positions:
- Any employee that is working in a summer program must be placed in a Summer position.
- Extended calendar is not allowed for work that is being conducted in a Summer program. Again, employees must be in a Summer position for Summer program work.
- All summer program administrators/hiring managers should work with the Office of Extended Learning to ensure that their program is following all of the appropriate and mandatory hiring procedures. These hiring procedures will include:
- OASIS Postings in coordination with Labor Relations
- Creating positions in coordination with Budget and HR
- Hiring employees into positions in coordination with HR
- The process should begin no later than December 17, 2021
