High School Credit Recovery “Student Support and Outreach”
for Evening and Saturday School
Evening and Saturday Classes will take place via Distance Learning
High School Credit Recovery-Evening/Saturday is available for students who need additional credits to graduate on time.
Extended hours for “Student Support and Outreach” position are in accordance with the current contract between UESF and SFUSD. Seeking SFUSD teachers and staff to reach out to students that are enrolled in High School Credit Recovery programs to support them in navigating distance learning, monitoring their progress and encouraging completion.
- Credentialed hourly rate is $50.60/per hour and non-credentialed hourly rate is based on current position in SFUSD.
- Up to 30 hours per semester (flexible)
- Evening Classes: Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday from 4:15pm - 6:45pm
- Saturday Classes: 12 class meeting days from 8:00am - 1:00pm
- SS&O Team members do not necessarily need to be available during the above days/times
- Spring 2022 Class Dates:
- Mon/Wed: Wednesday, February 2 - Wednesday, May 4 (No Classes: Feb 21, March 28 and 30)
- Tue/Thur: Thursday, February 3 - Tuesday, May 3 (No Classes: March 29 and 31)
- Saturday: Saturday, February 5 - Saturday, May 7 (No Classes: March 26 and April 2)
- MANDATORY Training Session (via Zoom):
- Wednesday, January 5 from 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Application Procedures:
- Applications will be posted on October 28, 2021. Review of applications will begin November 4, 2021 and will continue until positions are filled. Selection Process:
Application screening for minimum requirements. Program needs will be considered. Extended hour positions are subject to availability of funding and student enrollment each semester.
Requirements:
- Must be currently employed by SFUSD
- Appropriate credentials
- Satisfactory or higher evaluations for past three years
Desired Qualifications:
- Bilingual
- Ability to motivate students and build positive relationships
