There is still time to improve your school’s Free & Reduced percentage by collecting Multipurpose Family Income Forms! Here is some need-to-know information to support you:

1. Continue to reference this tool for MFIF key dates.

• Early Education Sites: Encourage all families to submit the Multipurpose Family Income Form by or before the end of the day October 29, in order to support your school's funding and to receive accurate reimbursement for the meals we serve our students.
• Families who already submitted a MFIF for this school year 2021-22 do not need to reapply.
• For individual family benefits, families are welcome to apply or reapply as needed throughout the school year. See the Family Benefits Guide for some examples.
   

2. Follow up with families: Generate a No MFIF on file report in synergy that includes parent contact information.

• Check your school’s current status, visit the Student Nutrition Services’ webpage for SFUSD employees at sfusd.edu/employees/schoolfoodresources. Scroll down to view current Free & Reduced Data - Student Eligibility Summary.
   

3. The MFIF application is available online at SchoolCafe.com, in English, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese and Arabic.

• You can submit as a “guest” on behalf of a family.
