The 2021-22 Alternate State Assessments include the CAAs for ELA, mathematics, and science, as well as the Alternate ELPAC Summative.  Students who are identified as having the most significant cognitive disabilities and are designated to take an alternate assessment in their IEP are required to participate in the CAAs, and the Alternate ELPAC if the student is also identified as an EL.
