Sunday, October 3 is the priority application deadline to join Pathway to Teaching for the 2022-23 school year. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a credentialed SFUSD teacher, check out our website, and start your application! 

Pathway to Teaching is SFUSD’s intern teacher preparation program, offering Multiple Subject, Multiple Subject with Bilingual Spanish Authorization, and Mild/Moderate Education Specialist credentials. Join a cohort of teachers working to earn a credential in one year while teaching in an SFUSD classroom and earning an intern teacher salary! As a Pathway teacher, you’ll participate in pre-service preparation during summer 2022, start teaching full time at the beginning of the 2022-23 school year, and engage in weekly coaching with a Pathway coach throughout the school year.

Multiple Subject candidates must submit an application by October 3 to be considered for the 2022-23 school year. Education Specialist and Bilingual candidates may apply by our second round deadline (November 21), but we encourage you to apply now for priority consideration!
