Key dates in September for collecting the Multipurpose Family Income Form (MFIF).
Reminder: the MFIF form is not needed for participation in school meals, however it has a huge influence on LCFF funding for your site. We are in this together!
- September 3 - Student Nutrition Services (SNS) will publish current MFIF return rates and Free/Reduced %’s for all SFUSD schools. Use your District login to access this website: sfusd.edu/employees/schoolfoodresources. Scroll to “Free & Reduced School Data” to view the list of data. SNS cannot share individual student or family eligibility with staff. SFUSD Board of Education policy limits the sharing of student data.
- September 6 - On this date, if you have collected any complete paper MFIF forms at your site, please mail them all to the Student Nutrition Services Office at 841 Ellis St. San Francisco, CA 94109
- September 24 - Extended deadline for online MFIF form submission. Encourage all families to apply at SchoolCafe.com. Families should apply by this date to support school funding purposes. The SNS team needs time to process the forms. More information and resources to support you are available on the School Food Resources Employee Site.
