Students enrolled in the Online Learning Program (OLP) have the option to sign up for home delivery of school meals. When they are enrolling for OLP, a link to a sign-up form for the Door to Door Meal Delivery program is included.
It will take a few weeks for Online Learning Program students to begin receiving meal delivery. While they are waiting for meal delivery to begin, OLP students may contact the main office of any SFUSD school and request pick-up of school breakfast and/or lunch between 10am and 1:00pm.
- Family member or designee can pick up 1 breakfast and 1 lunch per student enrolled in OLP each day at any school. Please see notes below for exceptions*
- If you receive a request from a family to pick up breakfast and/or lunch from your school, please do the following:
- Confirm a time between 10am and 1pm that the family/designee can come by to pick up their meals.
- Communicate with the dining staff about the number of breakfasts and/or lunches that are needed. The dining staff will confirm that they have the meals available.
- We ask that school staff are responsible for collecting the meals from the kitchen and bringing them to the front office for pick-up by families. (This is in order to ensure that the dining staff can continue meal service on time for all in-person students.)
- Please make sure all school office staff are aware of this policy.
*The following schools do NOT have a breakfast program, therefore if parents go to these schools, we will not be able to provide breakfast:
- Lillenthal Scott Campus
- Lillenthal Madison Campus
The following schools will NOT be able to provide breakfast or lunch pick-up:
- All Charter Schools
- All Stand Alone Early Education sites
Please note that OLP students are not allowed to do meal pick ups after September 30th at any school.
