SFUSD is partnering with Recology to launch a Zero Waste Champion Program next school year and is recruiting a working group of 8-10 teachers, staff or custodians who are interested in receiving Zero Waste Professional Development and helping develop the program this summer.

SFUSD is partnering with Recology to launch a Zero Waste Champion Program at a select number of sites this coming Fall 2021. We are currently recruiting a summer working group of 8-10 teachers, staff or custodians who are interested in helping develop the program and promote Zero Waste at their sites.
Highlights of participation include:
- Four 1.5-hour sessions during the month of July
- Zero waste professional development
- Opportunity to help us improve and develop the Zero Waste Champion program for the 2021-22 school year
Please note that the summer working group is limited to a size of 8-10 participants. You must be an employee of an SFUSD school site to apply. To apply, please visit this form. (Link: https://forms.gle/4kTJp2WeXRucqBoR9)
Dates for the working group are:
Monday, July 19th; Thursday, July 22nd; Monday, July 26th; and Thursday, July 29th. All sessions will be 9am-10:30am.
