SF Department of the Environment is hosting a youth-centered Climate Action event this Earth Day, April 22nd.2021.
Youth from around the world and Bay Area continued to take climate actions every day this year and wisely stay connected to nature, one another, and their communities. They kept their eye on their intentions for a better planet and continued to be the action we need to create climate justice.
This Climate Action Month, SF Environment honors youth resilience and well-being by hosting a virtual convergence designed for young people to come together and learn, heal, and connect on climate issues presented in the Biden-Harris Climate Summit.
The City and County of San Francisco invites all youth and supporting community members to the San Francisco Youth Climate Action Summit this Earth Day, April 22nd.
You’ll learn about the Climate Action work of the SF Chinese Newcomer School students, hear Director Debbie Raphael’s livestream conversation with youth leaders on their climate work, and watch a special climate-centered performance from Mission Dance Theater’s Grrrl Brigade.
So please join the San Francisco Department of the Environment and the many Bay Area youth leaders at the San Francisco Youth Climate Summit. Register below for one or more of the summit events.
