Summary
The Black Teacher Project recognizes the importance of lifting up Black teachers as leaders in the re-imagination of schools. As Black teachers have experienced and navigated anti-Blackness as both students and adults, they possess an inherent lens that is unique and critical to abolishing oppressive school policy and transforming schools into liberated learning communities where students are supported to fulfill their full potential.
Announcement Message
BTP invites you to engage in a liberatory design (bit.ly/neplibdesign) process. In this 4-session offering, you will be guided by BTP's equity-centered frameworks and protocols to design school experiences that center the healing and well-being of both students and self. We are most powerful when we take collective responsibility and action, so as we continue to respond to teaching and learning needs, let’s learn from our students, our communities, and each other to design curriculum that is liberating and rooted in love. *Please note that this offering is intended for teams of 2 or more*
