Announcement Details
Announcement Message
As you may have noticed, visiting our old public website (archive.sfusd.edu) and our old employee site (Sharepoint, or district.sfusd.edu) currently brings up a warning that your connection is not fully secure. This is because the archive.sfusd.edu and Sharepoint platforms are so old that they are no longer fully compatible with modern browsers.
SFUSD has been working to move content and functions of these outdated platforms to modern technology systems. Due to this migration plan and the security issues, the Dept. of Technology is planning to "sunset" or shut down Sharepoint and change the old public website so it is only accessible to employees on the SFUSD network at the end of January 2021.

Employee Pay Stubs
Dept. of Technology is working on a short-term solution for employees to access their pay stubs. Eventually employees will be able to access their pay stubs on the new human capital and business management system, EmpowerSF, when it goes live in summer 2021.
Stay tuned for more information on how you can access your pay stub!
OASIS - Employee E-Announcements
OASIS will be moving to the new SFUSD website on the Drupal content management system. Communications aims to have a basic form of OASIS ready by the end of January, and we will be making further updates and improvements in 2021. All employees will continue to receive a weekly email with OASIS announcements.
OASIS posters: We will be reaching out to you in January to train you on how to create and update OASIS announcements on the new website.
Content Migration
If your department still has content on Sharepoint, you should move it to Drupal, the content management system for sfusd.edu. Having content on Drupal ensures that the content is accessible to people with disabilities, people reading non-English languages, and people using mobile devices.
- View training options for school site content owners and central office content owners and have someone in your department sign up if no one is trained in Drupal.
If your department still has files on Sharepoint, you should save the files to your computer or Google Drive as soon as possible.
Old website/MODx
The old public website (archive.sfusd.edu) and MODx, the content management system for the old website, will be accessible only to employees on the SFUSD network. Unlike Sharepoint, the old website will still be accessible to employees. However, the public will not be able to visit archive.sfusd.edu.
