Already have a credential and want to add another authorization?

If you already have an existing Preliminary or Clear California teaching credential, it is possible to add another authorization by completing additional requirements. Please note at this time it is not possible to add a General Education subject area to an Education Specialist Instruction credential OR to add an Education Specialist Instruction specialty area to a General Education credential UNLESS another California credential program is completed in the desired authorization.
