The San Francisco Youth Commission (SFYC) is excited to announce the application 2025/2026 SFYC on Friday, March 28th at 12pm! To be eligible to serve, you must be a resident of San Francisco and be between the ages of 12 and 23 years old. Commissioners serve 1-year terms from August to July. Applicants should expect to spent at least 10 hours a month to work on Youth Commission work, and will be supported by 3 dedicated SFYC staff.
The SFYC application consists of 6 essay-style questions, demographic questions, and an optional letter of recommendation. There's also an alternative choice to submit a video answering the 6 questions instead of the written format. The deadline to submit the application will be Wednesday, April 30th at 11:59pm.
