The  Department of Children, Youth and Their Families is making the Student Success Fund - Rapid Response Fund Grants available to all SFUSD school sites. These are flexible funds set aside for emergency needs, discrete problem solving, and emergent strategies. Click here for more information about the Student Success Fund or go to https://www.dcyf.org/ssf.

Rapid Response Funds are designed to support short term needs and cannot be used to fund ongoing positions or coe staffing positions. Funds can be used for one time purchases or professional service contracts for short term/one time needs such as professional development, speakers for school wide assemblies, and/or wellness supplies, etc.

ELIGIBILITY: ALL SFUSD school sites and Charter schools who are approved under SFUSD are eligible to apply. Each School Site Council (SSC) must discuss and approve the request for the use of funds and will be notified about any modifications before they happen.

AWARD AMOUNT:  Awards can be up to $150,000 depending on existing funding through the Student Success Fund.

More information: Please contact your SSC or contact Chris Tsukida at tsukidac2@sfusd.edu if you have questions about how these are being used at your site.
