If you are passionate about driving positive change and ensuring that Multilingual learners/English learners receive the support and resources they deserve, we invite you to consider joining the SFUSD District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC) Board. 

The SFUSD DELAC plays a vital role in shaping the educational landscape for Multilingual learners. Comprising parents, families, and dedicated individuals like yourself, DELAC provides invaluable advice and guidance to the Board of Education and District staff on programs and services for Multilingual students who are learning English.

We are looking for:

  • Parents/Guardians of Multilingual Learners (flier): Your insights and experiences are invaluable in shaping policies and programs that directly impact Multilingual learners. 
  • High School Students (flier): We also encourage high school students to step up and serve as Youth Representatives on the DELAC Board. Your unique perspective and energy are essential in representing the interests of your peers. Stipend up to $1,200 provided per school year for students.
