About Mātua Advisory Council
A Mātua (Parent) Advisory Council is a group that helps identify the concerns of Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander students, parents, and community members and assists in developing solutions. Parents or guardians whose children attend SFUSD school are eligible to serve as members of the advisory council.
All school-sponsored activities are open to anyone who wishes to participate to forward the mission or objective of the activity or group. SFUSD does not limit participation or affiliation based on race, ethnicity, gender, or any other protected class.
