Announcement Message

Dear achievers, mark your calendars! African American Honor Roll students of 2024 will be front and center in the march at San Francisco's Juneteenth Parade, with the possibility of a dedicated African American Honor Roll float making its debut.

This is an opportunity for you to proudly showcase your academic accomplishments while marching alongside peers who share your commitment to excellence.

The honor roll parade has long been a cherished part of the African American Honor Roll ceremony, and the aim is to reignite its spirit at the Chase Center for the 2025 African American Honor Roll ceremony.

As we reflect on the legacy of Wesley Johnson Sr., fondly remembered as the "Godfather of Juneteenth" in San Francisco, we honor his legacy of community, culture, and empowerment. Embrace this chance to be part of a tradition that celebrates resilience, aspiration, and collective triumph.

All families who support SFABSE's aim to increase graduation rates for African American students are welcome to participate in this celebration.

Secure your spot now to ensure your participation in this historic event, and let's come together to make Juneteenth 2024 a celebration that resonates for years to come!
