Volunteer at Argonne Elementary School's Beautification Day and earn your Community Service Hours while attending the event with SFUSD for graduation requirements.

The event will take place at the 17th Street side playground of Argonne Elementary School, located at 680 - 18th Avenue.

  • To check-in and register, volunteers should go to the playground area of the school (off 17th Avenue) where a registration table will be set up.
  • Check-in and registration will begin at 8:30 a.m.
  • Before beginning work, organizers will hold a brief speaking program to provide volunteers with a safety overview and to discuss the day's activities.
  • Light breakfast snacks and coffee will be provided.

Volunteers will then be assigned to their respective teams and will head to their designated work sites.

Volunteers will work for about three hours and will return to the kickoff location by 12 noon to return their safety vests and tools.
