Become an Environmental Educator with SF Rec and Park's Youth Stewardship Program (YSP), where you will lead youth on field trips to San Francisco parks!
About YSP:
YSP is a free environmental education program offered to the San Francisco Unified School District and youth-serving organizations. Help youth understand the role they play in building healthy communities.
Interns will:
- Lead hands-on field trips for youth grades K-12 during the school year and summer
- Gain experience developing and implementing interpretive nature programs and events
- Maintain and preserve various natural and urban habitats
- Support department wide community events
Commitment:
- 10 months (42 weeks)
- Nov. 6, 2023 - August 25, 2024
- Full time: 40 hours/week; Monday through Friday
Applicants must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Possess a valid CA driver's license
- Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination by start date
Compensation:
- $700/week Living Allowance
- $900/month Housing Allowance
- Health Insurance Provided
