Volunteering with SFUSD to beautify schools can benefit both students and teachers

Would you like to join us in improving our school's appearance and greenery to benefit students and the community?

We invite you and your family to participate in a wonderful chance to unite with your neighbors in service projects.

Our Neighborhood Beautification Days help keep San Francisco beautiful through landscaping and gardening projects, graffiti removal, and litter cleanup.

This upcoming event will kick off at John Muir Elementary School on May 13, 2023, and will be an incredible, fun, and rewarding opportunity for the school community to work together. Volunteers will engage in various activities such as gardening, painting, tree planting, and more.

High school students who participate will receive two letters - one for volunteer recommendation and another for community engagement and support.
