Announcement Details
Announcement Message
Thanks to groundbreaking legislation (California Meals for All), California is the first state in the nation to provide breakfast and lunch at no cost to all students at all schools. Up to 1 complete breakfast and 1 complete lunch are available daily, including balanced meals with fresh fruit and vegetable options.
Supper
Additionally, supper is offered at no cost to any youth 18 & younger through participating after school programs. This is a full balanced meal with fruit and vegetable side options. Find a list of school locations under “Supper” at sfusd.edu/schoolfood
Snack update
Additional snacks were made possible last year by special pandemic-related federal waivers, which expired on June 30, 2022. Unfortunately, this means Student Nutrition Services is no longer able to offer in-classroom or take-home snacks because of these expired federal waivers.
- Students can take up to 2 fruits with breakfast and save their leftovers to snack on later!
