The Summer Reading Club at the San Francisco Botanical Garden is back! The Summer Reading Club is a free eight-week reading and activity program for children ages 0-12 from June 5 to July 31. Each child who registers at SFBG’s Helen Crocker Russell Library receives a logbook containing weekly garden themes that encourage reading, physical activity, and nature exploration.
Children may register at any point during June or July and will receive free seeds when they complete their weekly logs.
The library will celebrate the start of the program on Sunday, June 5th at 2pm with their Summer Reading Kickoff. A live book reading, interactive art demonstration with a professional illustrator, and hands-on crafts will be available.
