Encourage our youth to become an influencer for community public health!

Galería de la Raza and Horizons Unlimited of San Francisco, Inc. have partnered to launch a public health campaign, with support from the San Francisco Department of Public Health.

“I Am An Influencer” aims to reach local San Francisco and Bay Area youth to empower them to step into their role as “influencers” of community public health for their friends, family, and peers.

By providing reliable information, registering their family members for the vaccine, or accompanying them to a vaccination site, the young people of our communities have been essential to the immunization efforts in the past year.

As we reach higher percentages of a vaccinated population, we are calling on our community youth to aid us in the effort in promoting vaccinations in children 5-11 years of age and promoting the booster vaccine for ages 18 and up.

As influencers in their communities, we hope that this call to action lets the youth and their families in our communities proudly become advocates of community health and resilience.
