COVID Vaccine for anyone 5 years and older

Anyone ages 5 and above is eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine.

The San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) and its health system partners are continuing to administer COVID-19 vaccine doses to individuals 5 to 11 years of age. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had authorized the Pfizer-BioTech vaccine for this age group in October 2021.

Studies have shown the Pfizer vaccine is very effective in preventing COVID-19 infections and producing protective antibodies in teenagers. Learn more from the CDC about the benefits of getting a vaccine (Español | 简体中文 | Tiếng Việt | 한국어).
