How to Start a Walking School Bus Video Series

SFUSD's partner, Safe Routes to School, is happy to share a multi-lingual video series on How to Start a Walking School Bus. A walking school bus is a parent/caregiver-initiated group of children walking to school with one or more adults. It can be as simple as several families taking turns walking their children to school from time to time, or as structured as a route with meeting points, a timetable and a regularly rotated schedule of volunteers. 

Walking school buses are great for creating community at schools, promoting health and walking, a fun physical activity before a full day of class, and for relieving car congestion around schools.
