Announcement Message
The San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) and its health system partners are now administering COVID-19 booster doses to individuals 12 to 15 years of age. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had authorized the Pfizer-BioTech vaccine for use as a booster for this age group.
Individuals should expect longer wait times to set up appointments for boosters due to the significant increase in demand.
Eligible individuals should go first to their health care provider if they have one, or pharmacy.
If you have trouble making an appointment, SFDPH has opened the following locations where individuals age 12 and over can drop-in to receive a booster, Monday to Friday, while supplies last each day:
- Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, 8am to 6pm (1001 Potrero Ave, Bldg 30)
- Southeast Health Center, 9am to 4:30 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9am to 7pm on Thursday (2401 Keith Street)
- Chinese Hospital, 9am to 3:30 pm, (845 Jackson Street)
- Kaiser Tent, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (2350 Geary Blvd)
- Mission Wellness Pharmacy, 9am to 6pm (2424 Mission Street)
- HealthRight 360, 8:40 am to 12pm Monday to Friday, 1pm to 4pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (1563 Mission Street)
- All SFDPH Neighborhood Sites

SFUSD will continue working closely with SFDPH to ensure that vaccines are free and accessible to eligible individuals to keep our schools safe from COVID-19. For more information on how to access a booster, visit SF.gov/booster.
